Production (AKA Trailing 12 or T12) – All fees and commissions the advisor produces on their assets.

Assets under management (AUM) – Assets under management (AUM) refers to the market value of the assets a financial advisor manages on behalf of their clients.

Institutional business – Institutional business are large accounts handled by one advisor for the whole firm.

International business – International business refers to non-domestic clients or clients that are not American citizens.

Syndicate business – Syndicate business is new stock offerings sold to their clients.

Local hiring manager (Complex Manager or Regional Director) – The local manager who works for our client firm who will be meeting with your candidates

Book of Business – An advisor’s book of business is made up of assets he manages on behalf of his clients also known as households or Accounts.
